Nicaraguan Campesino Visit

Augusto Obregon, a Nicaraguan farmer, speaks to a crowd in the DAC Tuesday afternoon at LBCC. Obregon has advocated for small-scale farmers for over thirty years and is vice-president of the Federation of the Integral Development between Farmers. Brooke Denmark provides translation for this event, hosted by Witness for Peace Northwest.

Student Voter Registration

Stephanie Runge registers to vote outside The Hot Shot Thursday at LBCC. The table was sponsored by Oregon Student Public Interest Research Group. Lauren Kim, a campus organizer for OSPIRG, promotes the organization's volunteer and internship opportunities.
